The sauna, service, and food were all great, but the bathroom left something to be desired.

The hotel looked good and parking was easy to access. The main room was well presented, yet the teaspoons were dirty with sugar and smears, and the kettle still held a teabag and water from previous guests, with fingerprints on the lid.

After reading mixed reviews and staying during a busy weekend, our stay in room 223 on the top level at the very end was perfect: quiet, clean, beautifully designed, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Booking the spa was simple, we enjoyed drinks at the bar one evening, and a park was always nearby. Hot showers had great pressure, and check‑in was seamless with a code sent by email—no app needed. We loved everything about the hotel and found its design unique and clever. Minor issues included flat basketballs, difficulty locating the gym and sauna without signage (we asked a restaurant staff member because no one was at reception, but it wasn’t a big problem), the lack of robes for spa use (we had to walk past the restaurant), and no extra towel for the spa so we used our bathroom towel. A small room‑service menu would be nice. Town services closed early on Sunday, and we avoided the formal restaurant after a long day of hiking.

The newly renovated hotel offered a large room, sauna, outdoor hot tub (both available for private use), a game room, and friendly staff. However, some gimmicks felt unnecessary, the access and check‑in process were unclear, and the furniture layout in the spacious room was a bit odd.

I’ve stayed here before, and it’s always clean and spacious.
