A quiet, unpretentious spot with a small pool and a helpful caretaker named Muttu who always brings food and never turns anyone away. The place feels very hospitable and the room rates are very reasonable. Plenty of parking and a green lawn lets kids run around. It’s close to all the main sights on this little hill station. The only downside is that there isn’t much to do if you’re hoping for the same variety of activities you’d find in Ooty or other popular hill stations—just lower your expectations when you visit Yelagiri Hills.

I appreciated the scooter availability, but the rooms were only average and lacked proper upkeep. The beds were old, the sheets weren’t washed well, and there was a noticeable water shortage. Hospitality was also lacking.

The location is calm, parking is spacious, and the resort offers a swimming pool at a good price. Staff were friendly and the tourist spots were easy to reach. However, the heater needed repair, there was a water leak in the bathroom, and the bed was uncomfortable. The owner offered a new room, but we had already checked out the next day. It would be nice if they provided complimentary water bottles and soap for guests who book rooms.
