The wonderfully restored house sits perfectly on the edge of Servel, and all shops, restaurants, and especially the beautiful beaches on the Côte d’Azur are easily reachable by bike or car. The garden is very tidy (grass) but also very large with a nice wall. On good weather we could sit outside and eat our meals. The kitchen is well equipped, though a bit lacking in some items, but it’s no problem to buy new pans and pots. The upper bedroom is very nice, and we enjoyed sleeping quietly away from any street noise. Unfortunately there was no instruction on how to turn on the heating. The input form to obtain the key code didn’t work. I didn’t like having to log into an insecure network for internet use. A dedicated Wi‑Fi router should be purchased; internet access should be available directly.
