The lodge looks gorgeous, heavily tree‑lined with several lakes, beautiful décor, a pool, and plenty of greenery for anyone craving nature and calm. The breakfast starts at 8 am, which is too late for a working guest like me because I can’t grab a cup of coffee at all that day. The pool only opens at 10 am, while the sun in MT is already blazing from 7 am. Housekeeping begins at 8 am, so if you want a little extra rest you’re stuck with the loud noise from the room next door. The front desk sometimes lapses in attentiveness when you need to leave the property; on several occasions I had to get out of the car to call someone at reception to open the gate for me.

The setting is pretty and well maintained. Almost all of the service was awful: the pool had no attendants, the reception was confusing, there was no bar or restaurant service during the day, the TV only picked up one channel, and the air‑conditioning unit was a breeding ground for bacteria and grime. I was disappointed.

The pousada is gorgeous, spotless and well‑organized, with courteous staff. I wish there were either another pool or a larger one so we could enjoy the view more.

I didn’t like that I still couldn’t receive the invoice. The hotel said that because the booking was made through Booking, I would have to request it via Booking itself. I travel for work every week, always book through Booking, and normally receive the invoice from other hotels.
