The place was clean, exactly as in the photos, with excellent contact with the owner and a central location close to the main attractions. At night, city sounds could be heard, but that didn’t bother us. Highly recommended.

The apartment sits in a great spot and stays tidy; housekeeping can be arranged daily if needed, though the towels never get replaced. Closing the window makes it fairly quiet, and the bathroom is nicely fitted. The space feels smaller than the listing, around 16–18 m², and the pillows are hard. The TV’s placement means you might bump your head when getting out of bed, and the coffee machine only accepts capsules, which feels underwhelming for Sicilian standards. A wide gap around the front door lets hallway light spill into the room, and the shower head leaks from the sides; its tiles show mould‑like stains. The wall beside the balcony door is unfinished with exposed bricks, giving the room a rather unappealing look.

The spot’s great and the room’s pretty. I liked the place, but there was no wifi at all and no iron to press clothes.
