I left too early for breakfast, but there were fruits in the room along with coffee and tea if I wanted them. The location is wonderful, right in the heart of Patan. The host is very helpful and friendly, and the house itself is very pretty. The room I stayed in had a strong mold smell, though I think that’s not typical of all rooms; it was on the back side and it was raining heavily at the time.

“Hope to have the chance to stay here again”

TAJAA PHA is our favorite family‑run hotel in Nepal! The owners’ warm hospitality left a deep impression on us. The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from Patan Durbar Square, and a pond with colorful restaurants and shops sits right in front of it. Climbing to the rooftop at dawn or dusk gives breathtaking views of the majestic mountains and cityscape. The suite rooms are spacious, decorated with a cozy homely atmosphere, and fully equipped with all amenities. The couple personally prepares breakfast for us, often recommends local specialty dishes, and enthusiastically shares insights about the local culture and lifestyle. They were especially kind and helpful whenever we needed assistance.
