The bed was comfortable, the room was cleaned, the location was good, and the food and breakfast selection were excellent. The owner’s apartment was not something I would be thrilled about, and the waitresses were not very enthusiastic. When we wanted to sit down in the evening, before 8 pm the restaurant looked closed and no one was around, so we went across the street to a wine bar instead. When we returned, we found a waitress hiding by the mobile phone and asked how the evening worked, and we were told the restaurant closed at 10 pm and it was already half‑ten. We said we didn’t want anything now, just wanted to know for the next day. The next day we came early at 6 pm for dinner just to be sure, the food was excellent, but they acted as if we were bothering them again. When we checked out, no one asked how satisfied we were, we simply handed over the keys. In other hotels we’re used to better behavior and willingness, that they appreciate that we’re staying. If the staff were better, we would definitely return, because the food was good, the location and cleanliness were fine, but this way we won’t. We even forgot our slippers there, nobody bothered to call or send them, we had to go back ourselves. In one hotel on a wedding trip we left the marriage certificate there and they called and sent it. It’s all about people.
