The hospitality was great

This property has clearly had better days. Perhaps when new it aspired to be grand, but now seems faded. It was clean. The staff was fine. The overall shabbiness was disappointing.

The rooms felt fresh and the cleaning was outstanding; the lobby on the ground floor was spacious and attractive, though a group of guests had taken it over, and the convenience store right there made grabbing anything easy. The view was fantastic, the value for money was impressive, a large bakery café sat nearby, the bed was neither too soft nor too hard and proved very comfortable, and the Wi‑Fi was fast with clear instructions for connecting. However, parking around the hotel was a mess—both lanes of the one‑way street were blocked by parked cars, forcing drivers to cross the center line. The lot itself was fairly nice but the aisles were narrow, the gate barrier didn’t work yet the price board still displayed a fee, and the hotel gave no guidance on parking registration, leaving me uneasy about possible charges later. The elevator produced a worrying noise, and a posted warning or statement about some dispute made me feel uneasy.

I was freezing during my stay, and the heater was either too dry or not working properly. To make matters worse, I caught a cold after sleeping with the blanket inside out. It was a miserable experience, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

I was extremely disappointed with the service and cleanliness of this hotel. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful, and the housekeeping was subpar. The bed sheets were dusty, and the breakfast was a disaster - we ended up eating at a nearby restaurant instead. The room was also unbearably hot, and the air conditioning was set to heat only. To make matters worse, we had to pay extra for towels and the WiFi was completely unusable.
