The place sits in a quiet, safe spot, and the beach is about 10‑15 minutes away, with the town center not far either. I’d highly recommend it. Nothing to complain about!

This is a special spot in a peaceful, beautiful setting. Ally, who runs the place, brings a fascinating background and uses the profits to support her sustainable development/NGO work, so you’re contributing to a good cause. The common area is comfortable and stylishly furnished. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff are ready to accommodate your needs and offer any help you might require.

We stayed for one night, but the visit was very pleasant. The owner pointed us toward a quick route to the beach and highlighted what’s worth seeing in the city. The room was very clean and ample enough for a short stay.

A very beautiful, green, quiet, and clean spot for relaxation. There was a fairly large pool, though we didn’t have time to use it. Breakfast often includes tasty, fresh items straight from the garden. With the low prices, you have to give up a few luxurious touches in comfort, but that’s more than compensated by the staff, especially Abby, who is a wonderful, engaging, and helpful personality. The location is also nice: within 15 minutes you’re at the beach and in the peaceful, friendly town center of Bagamoyo, where you don’t have to worry about safety after dark. No comparison to Dar‑Es‑Salaam. Everything was fine.
