I didn’t think of it. The floor is in a state that could fall apart. The room smells moldy, the toilet is too small to sit in. For two people, two days, 89,000 yen is a ripoff.

The location is a dream, in a small cove right on the sea. The owner is very friendly and accommodating and even picked us up from the ferry terminal. Thanks! Breakfast and dinner are very tasty. There are vouchers for the nearby onsen, definitely worth trying! The whole property is a bit old and would need some renovation. Without a car you rely on buses, which don’t run very often on this side of the island.

The nighttime barbecue meat was delicious, and the master’s timely, efficient prep made the experience pleasant; breakfast also tasted good, and being right on an east‑facing beach let me enjoy early‑morning walks. I wish the breakfast coffee were drip‑brew, the ¥1,000 per‑person charge for bringing beer and other drinks to the barbecue was excessive, the trailer‑house bathroom was cramped and hard to use, and the entrance signage was confusing on my first drive‑in, which left a poor first impression; clearer signs at the entry would improve the welcome feeling.

I loved waking up to sunrise in that spot, the quiet atmosphere and the sound of waves that let me fall asleep easily, though some of the facilities showed their age and the place was a bit far from the harbor.
