I’ve stayed in many hotels, but this one was the most disgraceful I’ve ever encountered—don’t waste money, don’t trust the reservation, and don’t expect respectful treatment from the staff. The management should seriously review how this place is run; it doesn’t deserve anyone’s business. I would give it zero stars if I could. The experience was absolutely pathetic. I was in Cleveland for Game 5 of the Guardians playoff series, and with hotels fully booked, I was relieved to have a confirmed reservation at a reasonable price. That relief turned into a nightmare when the front‑desk gentleman told me my reservation had been cancelled, even though I had already paid. He claimed he’d tried to charge my card, but it was declined, and I showed him my booking confirmation and bank statement proving the payment had been taken. Instead of acknowledging the evidence, he called me a liar. He then said he’d called me twice about the cancellation, which was false; my call history showed no such calls. He abruptly changed his story, claiming he had called the booking company instead. I contacted the booking company, and they confirmed they had received no calls either. It became clear something was off. I suspect the hotel overbooked rooms and made excuses instead of taking responsibility. The lack of professionalism, honesty, and basic customer service was appalling. The front‑desk employee was rude, disrespectful, and kept changing his story when confronted with evidence. This place has no business hosting paying guests if that’s how they treat people.

Parking was secure, the location was good, and the rooms were simple but clean; however, the TV was broken and maintenance said they’d get replacements in a week, other renovations were pending, the plugs were faulty, and the bathroom granite was cracked and had peeled away from the wall.

The TV remote was missing, but the staff at the desk were very helpful. However, we could hear every noise in the hallway, the TV stand was filthy, and we were charged three different amounts on our credit card, making the price feel unjustified.

The staff were rude, disrespectful, and seemed uncaring, with nothing positive to mention.
