The couple from the Philippines and America welcomed us with a very friendly attitude. We were able to enjoy a decent meal (our choice) because there are no restaurants nearby and we didn’t want to go back to the far‑away center. Breakfast was light and optional. It felt more like a bed‑and‑breakfast than a hotel. The rooms were impeccably clean. The beach was just a few minutes’ walk away. The rooms weren’t ready when we arrived, but we weren’t in a hurry and ended up having a drink by the pool while we waited.

The only two good things about this place were the free parking and the view of the bay, but unfortunately, we didn't get to see it because the owners were late with our check-in. Everything else was a disaster. We stood outside the hotel for 15 minutes before they finally let us in, and then we waited another 30 minutes for the owner to show up from the beach.

The only good thing about this place was the location, which had a beautiful beach nearby. However, the hotel itself was way out in the middle of nowhere, with no shops or cafes nearby. The property was huge, but that was about it. The owner was a nightmare to deal with, taking 45 minutes to check us in and then arguing with me about my booking confirmation. He insisted on speaking to me in English and threw my phone at me when I tried to use a translator.

This place is a gem, especially if you're looking for a short walk to Hermits Cove. The host was super kind and took care of us like family, cooking up a storm and providing fresh coffee. The pool is a great spot to relax, and it's perfect for families with kids. Our room was clean and tidy, and the air conditioning worked like a charm when we needed it. Unfortunately, the weather was pretty rough during our stay, which limited our options for things to do.

“Value, view, location, peaceful”

The location of this place is absolutely perfect - it's right in the heart of the action, with Hermit Cove just a 3-minute walk away. The views of the Tanon Strait and Canlaon Mt/Volcano are simply stunning, and the pool area is super inviting with plenty of seating options. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the hosts are just wonderful people who'll go out of their way to help you out. The only downsides are the beds, which are just okay, and the breakfast, which is a bit bland.
