The variety of rooms!

I stayed in one of the old wooden houses in Eksjö’s charming old town near Norra Storgatan, right in the center. The corner room was pretty and bright, with a nice bed and a clean bathroom, plus good Wi‑Fi and a Smart TV with Chromecast/Google TV. The reception and check‑in were at Stadshotellet a little away, and the same applied to breakfast. Why not offer a breakfast bag or a drink or coffee machine in the lovely public spaces, or at least a fridge in the room? The windows were a bit drafty.

The place is in a great spot, less than 100 m from the square, a lively little hotel.

The hotel itself is decent. The smell coming from the drain was unpleasant.

A cozy stay in the heart of the wooden city! Unfortunately, breakfast at Eksjö Stadshotell was a disappointment.
