I could see Mt. Fuji from the room. The TV didn’t work, the non‑smoking room had an odor, the air conditioner was unusable, and the staff couldn’t understand Japanese.

The location was inconvenient and poorly connected to points of interest. The building was very old, decayed, and dirty (we found animals on the floor). The staff were absent and it was hard to communicate because nobody spoke English. We had planned to stay two nights but only managed one.

Free breakfast 🥞. The hygiene was poor and the in‑room washlet didn’t work.

The good thing was the free drinks and tea available in the first‑floor drink corner. Overall, the place felt very old and dated. The facilities were ancient, which is understandable, but there was no sense of cleanliness. The bath and toilet were especially concerning, with black mold everywhere. The large public bath had the same vibe. The dryer in the large bath was terrible; the vent was covered in dust and I couldn’t bring myself to use it. It was honestly quite unpleasant. The price was cheap, but in terms of experience I felt it was worth the money.
