The location was very quiet. The check‑in process involved communication in Chinese with an owner of a karaoke club a few doors away, who helped us get inside.

The location was good, but the furnishings were tasteless and impractical—there was no bedside table or any table at all. Cleanliness was severely lacking: the dark‑colored bed linens didn’t smell fresh, and only a handful of pictures were stuck to the wall. The bathroom, though spacious and featuring a Japanese‑style toilet, needed a deep clean because the shower enclosure walls were covered in mold. Out of nine different accommodations I visited during my four weeks in Taiwan, this is the only one that does not deserve a positive review—especially given that the owner actually suggested I give it the highest possible rating.

The staff greeted me at 11 am with all the information I needed, and the room felt like home—super clean and functional. A 15‑minute walk from Lukang’s famous street, shops and a bus station are nearby, but note you can only pay with cash. Honestly, everything was perfect.
