Insotel Club Maryland, Playa Migjorn, sits amid pine woods beside Formentera’s Migjorn Beach, offering two outdoor pools, a tennis court, archery, minigolf, water polo, aerobics, and optional diving and sailing clubs. White bungalows feature balconies, seating, sofa beds, and fridges. Guests enjoy a buffet restaurant, terrace overlooking the Mediterranean, two bars, snack bars, and an on‑site minimarket.

The beach, reception staff, and pools were positives, but the all‑inclusive claim falls short: tap water, the four cocktails they offer, and the pre‑made drinks from the machine are not truly included, and most staff look displeased. We showered in cold water for two days because the heater had very low capacity for the two of us. Breakfast supposedly ends at 10 am, yet we arrived at 9:40 and nothing was available, and they wouldn’t even make us a tortilla (they made one for themselves). The facilities are old and need renovation.

The village is spectacular, tucked inside the pine forest, with two pools—one saltwater, one freshwater—and the food is decent; the staff are exceptional, and they let you use the village facilities even after checkout, offering lunch and shower rooms before you leave. The cottage, which I’ll call that, is old, from the 1980s, lacks air‑conditioning, has two heavy ceiling fans, and if you’re looking for quiet it’s not suitable—neighbors are noisy and can ruin your holiday.
