The staff were friendly, and breakfast ran from 7:30 to 9:30. There is a shuttle bus that picks you up at arrival and departure, but we weren’t picked up because of a power outage in the city when we arrived, which meant phones didn’t work properly. There is no 24‑hour staffing, so you must be mindful of arrival times. The rooms are on the upper floors and you climb outside stairs—no elevator—to reach shared corridor areas; you can walk all the way around the building’s exterior corridors and get great city and mountain views. Cleaning can be requested by 9 pm, and there are shared toilet paper and towels in the common areas because of the lack of 24‑hour staff. Rooms face either the sea or the countryside/traffic. The indoor climate was bad: the room had no ventilation, only a clogged air vent that didn’t bring in fresh air, so the only option was to open the door or window to the corridor. When we arrived, it started raining and it rained for four days, producing a worsening mildew smell from the bathroom, so the indoor climate was unacceptable. I pointed it out, but they couldn’t do anything about it. The bathroom and kitchen share a vent; turning on the bathroom light turns on the vent for 15 minutes, which is noisy in the room and bathroom, and when there’s no proper exhaust the room’s indoor climate worsens. The first day we were given a baby bed, but it smelled moldy, so we returned it unused.
