In the picturesque village of Höchenschwand, public transport is a two‑minute walk away, the staff were friendly and truly hospitable, the rooms were extremely clean, mine even had a balcony, breakfast was fine, and there’s a terrace where guests can relax—everything was perfect.

A small, fine guesthouse run by owners who run it with passion and attention to detail; the bathroom was newly renovated, breakfast included homemade jams and jellies, and I’ll definitely return when I’m back in the Black Forest.

The place has a nice location, is nicely furnished, serves tasty food, and the owners are super friendly—highly recommend it. The only downside is that the restaurant is only open on weekends, but there are plenty of nearby spots.
