“Un incubo”
Avoid it! My girlfriend and I had booked the room almost 2 months before for Valentine’s Day. We contacted the owner for the key box code, entered the room, no problem, settled in, relaxed, etc. After a few hours we called the owner about a problem with the hot tub and he came. He entered and kicked us out of the property at 7 pm. Reason? He claimed the reservation hadn’t arrived, so there was another couple who had privately booked. I showed him the reservation, email, and invoice, but nothing; he said we had made a mess and he had no other rooms to give us for free. Obviously we said we’d be fine with a room with less comfort, but nothing. After minutes of inventing excuses and apologies, he offered us as a favor to pay for another structure from a friend with a maximum of 10 euro discount, which was impossible due to lack of funds (the room was rented with the little money we had left). So a 21‑year‑old and a 23‑year‑old found themselves in the middle of nowhere, without means and money, forced to call external people in an emergency because they were kicked out out of nowhere for a problem from the owner. If not for the excellent assistance from Booking, we would have lost those few euros we had. Shitty.
