Breakfast was superb, both sweet and savory, with top‑quality local products. Everything was very clean and hygienic – we didn’t see a single hair out of place. The bed was comfortable, the room quiet, air‑conditioned and cozy. The pool was large, clean and surrounded by relaxing greenery. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and the owners clearly put their heart into what they do. There really isn’t any downside; for the price we got far more than we expected. I’ve read other negative comments but those reviewers seem to miss the context of a 3‑star property that offers far more substance than many 4‑star places I’ve stayed at, which often have more style than substance. Sure, the hotel could look more modern with chic furnishings and the pool could use a refresh, but that would raise the price – it doesn’t make sense to criticize what isn’t there when we’re talking about a 3‑star hotel that delivers great service and cleanliness, which are what matter.
