It was truly a bed‑and‑breakfast, and the breakfast was first‑class. The hosts were very pleasant. The area feels tired and there were very few places within walking distance for a meal. The property was hard to find and parking is on the street.

The hosts were welcoming, available, kind, non‑intrusive, and gave good advice. The house has character, a courtyard to leave bikes and secure them, nearby parking, a small fridge in the room, clean floors, a comfortable bed and a modern, clean bathroom, and it’s close to the Ravel and the train station. The downside is the loft area with many stairs, dust on the beams, limited breakfast options (no syrup, eggs, etc.), and few restaurants or brasseries nearby.
