I appreciated the design and the friendly staff at the café. The location is super convenient, making it easy to stroll around town. The entry system was a bit confusing for us, and the breakfast was disappointing—just one cup of coffee, a glass of juice, and a Cornetto, which felt lacking for a protein‑rich start. That was the main let‑down before we hit the road.
The owner is incredibly responsive and meets all needs. The location is perfect, with cafés nearby for breakfast, and the facilities are in excellent condition. However, the value for money has dropped since my last stay three years ago. The price stayed the same for three people, yet the apartment wasn’t refreshed—there are cracks and small mold spots. A refresh would be welcome at that rate. Also, the café that was shown in the listing photos for breakfast is no longer available, which is disappointing because I chose the place partly for that.
“I would not recommend staying here”
The place is well‑located. The property was dirty, lacked toilet paper, and the corridors were very noisy. Some guests got locked out and started buzzing the buzzer for my room at 2:30 am, which made staying here very stressful.
“Bienvenue a Barletta”
The apartment was beautiful, right across from the castle, and the air‑conditioning was really useful. At night it falls into the restricted traffic zone, so parking on site isn’t possible, but you can unload and load luggage (we saw that later). There’s paid parking in the adjacent streets or a paid garage if you book in advance.
Great location and clean. It’s not possible to pay 300 euros for a room just because there’s a concert.
