Tyr Graig Castle, a 4-star Victorian guest accommodation, boasts a stunning cliff-top location with breathtaking views of Cardigan Bay. Built in the 1880s, the castle features original stained glass windows and a unique design resembling a castle and shotgun. Guests enjoy sea-view rooms, a restaurant serving traditional British and Welsh cuisine, and a log-fire lounge with a conservatory bar and waterfront terrace.

The location was excellent, the breakfast was great, and the selection of food and drinks was a good choice.

The location was good and the staff were very helpful. Freshly cooked food was available on demand, and the menu listed cod instead of haddock. The weather was terrible, it poured and blew like crazy, which was beyond the hotel’s control.

I stayed a bit away from the front in a quiet spot, the room was clean and the shower was good, breakfast had plenty of options and the staff were friendly – definitely coming back. The only downside was that it felt a little tired and outdated.

Breakfast and dinner were delicious, served in the conservatory with a view of the sea.
