A charming, characterful place with an excellent location, super comfy rooms, spotless cleanliness, helpful staff, and a lot of extras; just wish there were more hot dishes for breakfast.

Hotel König von Ungarn, Vienna's oldest hotel since 1746, is centrally located 50 metres from Saint Stephen's Cathedral. Individually designed rooms, a glass-covered courtyard, and Atrium Bar with aperitifs and snacks await. This historic hotel, once a guesthouse of the archbishop, is near State Opera, Stephansplatz Underground Station, and Mozart House, where Mozart composed “The Marriage of Figaro”.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful and takes you back to old Vienna; our room was stunning, the staff were brilliant, and the hotel is close to everything without being noisy—we’ll return.

Breakfast buffet was wonderful, and the first day’s service was excellent; on the second day the hostess was rude, no one came to get our coffee after we sat, I had to leave my table to ask for it, and later I had to request someone to take our order while she just stared at her phone.
