The food was pretty tasty, but it was your basic fare. However, the dining area was a mess - dirty chairs and no staff to be seen at the buffet. And it wasn't just the dining area, someone had left their dirty plates outside and they just sat there until we left, attracting crows. The pool wasn't much better, it was dirty and smelled bad. It seemed like the hotel wasn't really on top of maintenance.

The place had a great atmosphere, but our experience was marred by one of the staff members, Shameer, who worked at reception. He was really unhelpful and we had a bit of a run-in with him. The ambience was nice, but it's hard to enjoy when the staff aren't friendly.

This hotel's got some age to it, which could be charming, but unfortunately, it feels like it's been neglected. The property's old, but it's not well maintained, which was a letdown.
