The Meyer Hotel

“Can’t wait to stay again”

The facility was fantastic! Deer greeted us in the meadow by the creek. The cottage was spotless and very cozy. I can’t say enough about how exceptional this property is! Nothing to complain about—everything was great.

The location was good. The remote check‑in was a bit inconvenient. I appreciate genuine people at a hotel, but the room was only average compared to my previous stay at the same hotel years ago. The AC unit was extremely loud.

“Historic and lovely location, but swing and a miss on the details.”

The setting on a charming heritage site was beautiful—historic and quaint. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, several small problems disrupted our comfort. The fan squeaked loudly all night, drains didn’t clear properly, the pool wasn’t cleaned, there were no coffee cups in the rooms, and no towels by the pool side. I mentioned these to management, but only the coffee‑cup issue was fixed. The hotel has a lot of potential!

“Very old, rustic place in a great location.”

The place sits in a great spot and the room is spacious with a comfy bed, but the building feels very old and hasn’t been refreshed. When I arrived there was no office or staff to check me in, and the room I was first assigned had wasps. After letting the team know, they moved me to a different room, which was also large and had a comfortable bed, yet the bathroom looked dirty because of heavy rust stains on the toilet.

Great location. Accessible. Wasn't clean. Toilet broken. Door wasn't secure. Filter on a/C needed to be changed. Walls too thin. You could hear every word the neighbors said. No hair dryer
