The staff were friendly and the rooms were tidy; the food was excellent, though service could be a bit slow. We had half‑board, which gave us 400 kwacha each night for meals; I paid any extra daily after leaving the restaurant. The night before checkout, staff told me there was an outstanding balance, which was wrong; the restaurant staff were called and assured me the account was settled and nothing owed. Yet at early‑morning checkout, I was told again that I owed money, delaying our departure because the on‑duty staff had to call off‑duty staff to resolve the issue for the third time. We would stay again but skip half‑board and avoid paying per day, as reception doesn’t seem to register payments made at the restaurant and bar, and there’s no coherent handover.
