“静かで落ち着く良い宿”
The place was very quiet and allowed pets. The entrance was narrow, so a regular car would hit the landscaping.

The staff were very nice, which was great. It rained, which was a shame, but we were able to rest slowly. Thank you! No complaints.

The building is a renovated old farmhouse; tatami was laid over the original wooden floor. They even had fluffy socks, perhaps for the cold. The kotatsu made for a cozy time. The bathroom and toilet were renovated, spacious, clean, and pleasant to use. Plenty of towels were available. Surrounded by trees, it was very peaceful and healing. Cooking is self‑served, but it’s convenient because you only need to bring ingredients. The pantry was stocked with soy sauce, salt, pepper, olive oil, cooking sake, mirin, sauce, yakiniku sauce, bonito flakes, concentrated noodle soup, chicken stock cubes, udon soup base, butter, and more—so much that it felt excessive. There was also homemade umeboshi. Kitchenware and dishes were sufficient. Aluminum foil, kitchen paper, and disposable chopsticks were handy for barbecues, and I used zip‑lock bags to take leftovers home. No major issues; the only points worth mentioning are that the approach involves a narrow mountain trail, so you’re not in a shopping area within walking distance. The old farmhouse has many small steps and low ceilings. I’m 172 cm tall and bumped my head on the doorframe a few times.

We were thrilled with our stay—calm, quiet, and a lovely home, plus a very gracious host who also has cute, friendly dogs. I wish we could have stayed longer! The place is just an 8‑minute drive from the airport.

The staff were exceptionally helpful, making us feel completely at ease. Living in the countryside, the old house felt like stepping into my grandparents’ home, evoking nostalgia and a touch of wistfulness. Honestly, it was very nostalgic. There were no particular negatives.
