“A great place to stay in Felixstowe.”
A charming old house just a stone's throw from Felixstowe centre, yet still quiet; the hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was lovely, with no complaints.
“Very enjoyable and a nice break and the owners were lovely.”
The owners were friendly and welcoming, making everything easy; the house itself was a well‑kept, lovely, clean old building, but the sink for washing was in the bedroom instead of the bathroom, and the shower‑toilet area seemed to have been converted from a cupboard with a sink that didn't fit, so I preferred not to wash in front of others, even my husband, to maintain privacy.
“Couple weekend away”
Excellent hospitality, a great breakfast, and a spacious, comfortable room; we are walkers, so the 20‑minute walk to the front was fine for us, but if you aren't a walker, be aware of that distance.
“Beautiful house and setting”
The breakfast was lovely, and I appreciated the generous tea pot; the house was lovely and the location peaceful—perfect for the wedding we attended and for beach and shop visits, though I would have liked a slightly larger ensuite, a minor detail that won't stop me from staying again.
“Blissful”
Despite being near a road and surrounded by houses, the location was very peaceful; the house was lovely, the bed large and very comfortable, and the homemade breakfast was excellent; Liz and Stephen were charming, though the shower cubicle was a little snug for my husband but fine for me.
