The reception was extremely friendly, and the breakfast was amazing with both savory and sweet options, plus excellent jam, bread, a croissant, and good butter. We ate while looking out over the garden with open doors and felt very pampered by the personal service. The room was spacious, with a separate bathroom and bathrobes, and the bed was great. The only downside was that we expected the room to be a bit warmer.

A charming gentleman explained how the manor had been renovated; the first area was lovely, and they also operate a wedding venue. The gardens were spectacular, and the rooms were eclectic and very interesting—overall a wonderful place to stay. Nothing to complain about; everything was great.

The building and surrounding grounds provide a fantastic setting, but it’s especially the service that makes everything work. The breakfast, served at the table with a view of the garden from a beautiful room, leaves you with a big smile when you depart.
