Everything was fine – the room was clean, the staff friendly and the location spot‑on. I didn’t run into any issues at all, so I’d say it was a solid, no‑surprises stay.

The place is pretty bare‑bones, but there is a tiny kitchen area and a few shared bathrooms that are surprisingly clean, which is a plus. On the downside, it’s a semi‑basement room so you can see people’s feet from the window, and cats sometimes wander in. The washing machine is there but you can’t use it, and that wasn’t mentioned at all; we only found out after trying to do a load. Overall, the lack of privacy and the hidden laundry restrictions left a sour taste.

I never actually got to stay there because my paid reservation was pulled out from under me while I was on the road. They claimed the hotel had closed – which was clearly a lie – and left me stranded.

The location is great – just a short walk to the city centre – and the communal bathroom is kept tidy. However, the listing was misleading: it never said the baths and toilets are shared, that the rooms are in the basement, or that a 5‑6 m² space costs over €100. For a room that size, I’d expect a price more like €30‑40. It feels more like a stop‑over than a proper stay.

Being right next to the centre is definitely a plus, but the ground‑floor unit suffers from noticeable dampness. The humidity made the room feel chilly and a bit uncomfortable.
