Although the hotel is somewhat old-fashioned, it sits right next to Tottori Station, the staff are very helpful, and even during holidays the rates stay reasonable, giving good value.

I booked for two adults and one child with breakfast included; the search results showed breakfast in the price, yet at check‑in the front desk said only the two adults’ breakfasts were covered and the child’s would cost an extra 700 ¥. After insisting, the hotel waived that fee, but the experience was far from pleasant—can anyone explain where the mistake happened? Also, could the hotel consider offering free parking for guests?

The room was clean, and the hotel is close to the station. The front desk prepared all the amenities and drinks I needed during my stay, and after checkout they held my luggage until the train departed. I would have liked at least one bottled water in the room. The elevator doors closed so quickly that I got caught several times, so I had to keep the button pressed all the time.

The staff were courteous and the location near the station was convenient. Because the hotel was full, I could hear other guests’ footsteps.

I stayed at a typical business hotel and appreciated the built-in razor; I would have used the on‑site Chinese restaurant if it were a bit cheaper.
