Everything- location, room size, equipment, cleanliness, quietness … all gave a more than 4 star feeling to this place. Nothing - other people might need breakfast or other amenities. A/C was a bit tricky - even at the lowest fan speed I felt it was too strong for sleeping

Very spacious Japanese style room.Nice bathroom with toitleries and pyjamas. Metro station is 3 blocks from the hotel. Many restaurants in the area. Nijo-jo castle is within walking distance

I found this small‑scale hotel on a quiet street, close to buses and the metro, and near the shopping district; the suite was beautifully decorated in a Bali style, and there were no complaints.

I would not recommend this hotel at all. Even though the décor was nice, the room was very dirty: the walls were stained, there was dust on the lamps, flowers, and decorative items. They didn’t replace the toilet paper or the used tea cups. The internet was bad, and the TV didn’t work with YouTube or Netflix. When we asked for help, the staff simply said the internet was bad and they could do nothing about it. The only solution they offered was to refund us and leave the hotel. We explained that booking another hotel at the last minute would cost us a lot more, but they offered no real solution. After 22:00 there is no staff at all. In an emergency, for a room issue, or even when the toilet paper ran out, no one could help. The worst part was in the bathroom: the tap that shuts off the water was broken, so we couldn’t stop the flow; the water ran all night. Also, the dryer shrank all my clothes. Between the dirt, broken equipment, total lack of help, and ruined clothes, it was a disgusting and unpleasant experience. This hotel really ruined part of our trip. Stay away from this place.

The hotel rooms are beautiful and spacious, within walking distance of the metro station, close to several restaurants and bakeries, and I highly recommend it.
