We enjoyed a very pleasant stay at Tignes Val Claret; the club is well‑located, the staff attentive and caring, the room comfortable and clean, and the meals varied and delicious.
The location is amazing.
“Nice hotel with everything on site. Enjoyed our stay and would deffo consider coming back.”
Everything was all inclusive, but the pool area was small.
“Great location and family potential, but disappointing service left a poor final impression.”
The hotel sits in a fantastic spot in a lovely village that we really enjoyed; it’s a beautiful area and we’d love to return. There were plenty of activities for children, which is great for families, and sometimes the food was very good, especially the pizza. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing—several staff members were rude, unhelpful and unfriendly on multiple occasions, including the duty manager. Many of the kids’ activities were mainly in French, making it hard for international guests, and the food was inconsistent, with some meals of poor quality, such as chewy meat.
“Right on the piste; good, sometimes great food. Far too expensive (but it was Christmas week).”
Breakfast was great, except for the occasional scramble over boiled eggs. Lunch was excellent and the staff were lovely. Dinner wasn’t as good as I remembered from the last stay; finding a table was difficult because large families seem to reserve all the decent ones, and there were many more children—some lovely, some noisy—than during our previous visits.
