Hotel Cavour is situated within the Galleria Raggio arcade in Rapallo, within walking distance of the seaside, restaurants, and boutiques. The hotel features air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, satellite channels, parquet floors, and minibars. Private bathrooms include toiletries, baths or showers, and hairdryers. The location is definitely strategic and convenient for all services, but the parking is too expensive and you can’t even get a daily pass to save a bit. The hotel is pretty, the staff friendly, but the room is very small yet has all the comforts. The bathroom is functional with a shower dispenser and hair dryer, but without a window and ventilation it becomes really tough; there are definitely no hangers for face towels, intimate towels, and shower towels. The air conditioner is very useful on hot days, and the little balcony is very handy especially for smokers, but it’s poorly maintained in terms of cleanliness and window upkeep, same with the solarium which is very neglected. The Jacuzzi probably needs serious maintenance; I didn’t even feel like stepping in, let alone fully immersing. Breakfast was good, with many products for all needs and tastes, and the staff were extremely kind. I still recommend this hotel for its very convenient location and good value.

The hotel is right in the centre of Rapallo, just four minutes from the station and ten minutes from the beach we chose, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff were polite and helpful, giving us an early room even though we arrived well before check‑in time. The beds were comfortable, the air‑conditioning worked, and the room was kept tidy every day; breakfast was decent. The shower screen was poorly designed, covering only one side of the corner shower, and on the last night we accidentally flooded the room. The room was poorly ventilated and small, with a blind bathroom and only one window in the room. The décor, floors and walls looked very dated in both the room and the public areas, especially the unsightly carpet.

We were a group of 12, and the staff were very friendly and attentive, meeting all our expectations right next to the port and the city center. Thanks.

The staff were friendly, the location is just meters from the sea and the train station, the bathroom lighting is good, and the mini‑fridge and air conditioning work very well. Everything was great.
