Hotel Castelfidardo

A very good hotel for the money, convenient location, the room had a kettle, fridge, and the corridor had a iron with a board. The lift is interesting and authentic. There is no reception desk; check‑in instructions with codes are sent via WhatsApp, no problems.

“It was clean and a good location. But would be better if the ac had worked.”

It was very clean and the location was good. Lots of towels and there was also a fridge and kettle with tea bags. Close to the metro station and very walkable distance to the colosseum and all the monuments in Rome. Also many restaurants and shops close by. We booked a family room of 5, one double bed when you walk in which has an ac and fan and tv. When you walk further down the corridor there's a second area with 3 single beds, however ac and tv were not working. We messaged the owner and they said it was out of order and said we can only use one air conditioner as it is a family room, but it was still very warm in the second room with the fan so we all had to sleep in the first room as it was difficult to sleep in the second room due to the temperature. Also the bathroom door did not lock. The check in process was also a bit strange as in a hotel you would check in at a reception however we had to check in online via whatsapp. We also expected the whole building to be a hotel however the 3rd floor of the apartment building is the hotel with quite a few rooms
