I’m not used to staying in hostels, but I booked a private room for one night and would have stayed at least two if I had more days. The location is fantastic—literally right on the beach.

The staff are world‑class, especially Alejandra, an excellent woman. Everything else I liked: the kitchen, direct beach access, and central spot.

Our clothes were washed well. Luckily we got an upgrade because the first room smelled strongly of damp.

The staff were friendly, the kitchen great, and the spot in Playa Cocles right on the beach was perfect for exploring. A big supermarket is a 10‑minute walk away and a bus stop sits just outside the hostel for trips along the coast. Good value!
