I was kept awake all night the first night because mice were in my room, one even ran around on my bedside table; the owners ignored my requests to move or get a partial refund. Dreadful property and dreadful people—avoid at all costs.

I’ve stayed here several times over the past few years for work; for the price it’s great value—clean, tidy rooms, shared toilets, sink, showers, and kitchen all working well, I have privacy, the location is ideal for food and travel, and the entry instructions are clear. It would be nice to have a bit more sound insulation, but I understand roadworks and late‑night visitors aren’t the venue’s fault.

The spot was spot on for location, and the room was a decent size with shared amenities in a good spot, but the heater was a disaster—once on, it sounded like a helicopter, so I couldn't keep it running while sleeping, and placing it near the ceiling meant the heat never spread through the room.
