The building showed no maintenance; the room had four bedbugs and was covered in dust, the heating/air system was very noisy, and the bathroom leaked and seemed poorly cared for—I even feared the shower might collapse. We had to change venues for breakfast, and the cold made us eat it while wearing jackets. Although the business card claimed four stars, I’d take three away. I felt compelled to be honest, so I’m writing this review. I had to call the reception the day before because we didn’t know if anyone was on duty; it’s only open 24 hours on Saturdays, hoping some good‑natured person will take the job.

I went there with my partner and enjoyed the terrace to unwind, and the front desk had a wonderful staff member. The downside was the first time the water didn’t work and the room wasn’t cleaned properly, plus there was confusion about the price listed online versus what we actually paid.

The room was dirty and there was no hot water. The bedding was probably not changed or folded. Breakfast was actually missing, and the dining area was very cold.

The place is far from feeling like a four‑star hotel any more; it looks dated and could use some repairs, yet for what we paid we’re fairly happy. Breakfast was solid, offering a decent mix of sweet and savory items, and because we had two small kids they kindly gave us fresh milk instead of the vending‑machine version. Our room, however, needed work: the shower and tap barely dripped, likely due to a calcium blockage.
