The hotel is excellent and well‑located, the room was spotless, the A/C worked well, the shower was large with a door to keep water off the floor, the owners were very friendly and easy to communicate with in English or via translation app, the beds were firm, the room had a mini fridge and kettle, a nice balcony, a closet with hangers, and a TV with Netflix, YouTube, etc.; it’s a 5‑minute walk to Sun World and Dragon Park, a 5‑minute drive to the cruise pier, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, plus two Circle K stores close by (the one slightly north of Sun World); everything was great, but if you prefer a softer mattress you might find the beds a little firm.

The tiny homestay turned out to be a huge surprise: two rooms on one floor, front and back with a central staircase like a Taiwanese townhouse, the rooms matched the photos exactly, the bed was gigantic 😆, the blankets and pillows were super comfortable, there was an elevator, it was great value and highly recommended. The neighbor had a massage, a small shop was just around the corner, grabbing a ride was easy. The front desk sold tours, they tried to upsell but I could decline without issue. The only downside was that everything in the fridge, including water, cost money and there were no price tags or prior notice, so you have to watch out.

I loved how central it was to everything and the hotel staff were extremely helpful with booking tours and transport. No dislikes.
