The house is a beautiful, newly built traditional Japanese style with plenty of wood and a cozy interior; it feels like a calming retreat and the host is kind and helpful. Nothing was missing, everything was perfect.

The breakfast was great, the place was clean and the bed comfortable, and the host was friendly. Every detail was good. It’s about a 20‑minute walk from Tokushima city, but the neighborhood is very quiet and the accommodation is wonderful. A large supermarket is only a 10‑minute walk, which is very convenient. I enjoyed a quiet early‑morning stroll around the quiet area, and I definitely want to come back. Highly recommend.

Masai was especially accommodating, offering to drive us to the property on check‑in day and back to the station on check‑out. She greeted us with Tokushima barley tea, then cooked a delicious breakfast using ingredients from local contacts she knows. Her English is excellent, and we had great conversations while she prepared the meal. The property, built just four years ago with a lot of love, has a Muji‑like decor and includes a separate Japanese‑style room and a western‑style room.

We had a great night during the Awaodori festival. The house was completely renovated, traditional Japanese style, with a calm garden and countryside view—superb! The owner was very kind, and the homemade breakfast was excellent.
