I liked the location because relatives were nearby, but the room we got was tiny and cramped in the attic; the bed pressed against the wall made it hard to get in and out at night, and at our age in our 70s it was simply uncomfortable.

The staff were absolutely great—warm, friendly, and ready to help—while the room stayed clean and tidy, and the food was absolutely on point.

The restaurant was really good, a first‑time visit to a cheese and beer collection with a great menu, and the tortilla chips we shared were plentiful, tasty, and varied; breakfast offered a solid selection including eggs benedict. The bathroom, however, looked worn and sad, with mouldy windows and rotting wood, and the shower was positioned over the bath with no mat to prevent slipping.
