The room was gorgeous with a large balcony, completely quiet, right in the heart of Meta. It’s a 10‑minute walk to a beautiful beach and a viewpoint overlooking the Bay of Naples, a perfect alternative to the bustle of Sorrento. The kitchenette and cooking utensils were very limited, not suitable for serious cooking.

The lady who ran the apartment was really nice and helpful, and the interior design was unique and quite modern. It’s in a good spot, a bus or train away from Sorrento, and a 10‑minute walk to the beach (lots of stairs). There was a fairly safe parking option, but you had to pay extra for it. The apartment and everything inside had a musty/old‑house smell, because the bedroom had no windows and the bathroom only a small opening. You could only pay in cash for the parking (10 €/day) plus the city tax. The shower door didn’t close properly, so water easily splashed all over the bathroom. Also, some streets are very narrow, so driving a larger car can be difficult.

The place was very well maintained, clean, and welcoming. The location was excellent and the area genuinely pleasant. The lady who greeted us was extremely kind and available for any need. Everything was organized simply and comfortably, and we felt right at home immediately. Nothing was wrong; everything was perfect.

Fue una grata sorpresa, tanto Casa Cafiero como Meta en sí mismo, una exquisita experiencia. La habitación era preciosa, recién remodelada y preocupada por los detalles, tenía una terraza privada que fue ideal para tomar el desayuno. Además de la excelente disposición de Alessandro para ayudarnos en todo lo que le pedimos. Si hay que encontar algo, sería que sólo que estaba un poco alejando de la estación de tren para llegar con el equipaje, lo que fue un real desafío; principalmente por los adoquines y las subidas y abajas que tiene el pueblo en su topografía. luego sin carga no era difícil acceder a ella
