The bed was comfy and the air‑con worked well, but as a woman I didn't feel safe. Our flight was delayed, so we checked in at 3 am; the staff met us, gave us a good rundown, and escorted us to our room. When we came back downstairs for a vape, another backpacker was quite rude and a bit aggressive in his opinion. Overall, the welcome vibe wasn't very secure. The other guests seemed to be older male long‑term renters rather than holidaymakers, so female travelers might want to be cautious. Also, there was no soap in the bathroom.

The location is next to the port and the Papeete market. The smell when you entered the dorm was off, and the upper bed creaked. There were no bath mats in the bathrooms or the toilets, so we walked barefoot and had to avoid the urine of a client who had peed next to the toilet. Storage space was limited for our belongings in the showers, which were also dirty from previous guests. It was noisy because of the city centre and guests who might talk at night, arrive late or leave early. It works for a single night, but not for longer stays.

“Correct pour une nuit de transit”

Prix , proximité du quai d embarquement et de la ville . Chambre borgne, WC et salle de bain assez sales , très bruyant ( bruits de portes et de voix quasiment toute la nuit.)
