How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The staff were very friendly and the gentleman at reception even used a web translator so we could communicate. The room was clean and we were happy to find a refrigerator inside. The location is pleasant; the hotel isn’t exactly in the center, but it’s still close enough. From an Indonesian perspective nothing was bad, except maybe a single drain in the bathroom that Europeans aren’t used to. A typical tourist might miss a duvet cover and toilet paper.

The hotel offers a spacious parking area and a lovely pond with fish. It also has a great café, which the website oddly omits, and states that breakfast isn’t included. Because the hotel sits on the outskirts and there are no nearby cafés, that was a real issue when picking a place to stay, though we ended up enjoying a fantastic dinner. We couldn’t have breakfast because the café opens at 10 am. The rooms lacked glasses, cups and a kettle, had no toilet paper (a problem for Europeans), no shower mat, and each guest received only one towel.

I liked the balcony for its beautiful view and the large windows that let in early morning light, making it soothing to lie in bed. The place was clean, but the TV didn’t work, which was odd. I appreciated the restaurant with its large fish pond, a prayer room, a small bridge with grapevines, and the option to do a little karaoke there. Overall it was a lovely stay. The TV still didn’t work.
