Obwohl, die Lodge am Flughafen war, war es doch relativ leise. Ja man konnte Abends sogar Vögel zwitschern hören. Und in der Nacht hatte man auch einen wunderschönen Sternenhimmel durch die klare Luft. Zum Abendessen konnte man nach Twitzel fahren. Frühstück gab es in der Lodge und das war sehr gut. Ja man musste das Frühstück selber machen aber es gab alles, auch Frühstückseier. Bisschen Abseits von Twitzel entfernt, da man ja mit Auto reißt sehe ich das nicht negativ. Hier würde ich wieder buchen

“One of our best stays”

Had a fantastic 3night stay at the lodge. The location was perfect to see lake Tekapo and do the Hooker Valley walk. Very close to shops and restaurants in Twizel. So peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful mountain views and great for watching planes/ helicopters/ skydivers. Rooms are very spacious, huge and comfortable bed, great walk in shower, nice to have chairs and table as well. Loved the skylarks singing outside. Air con/ fridge/ kettle in the room but also can use the shared kitchen for making tea/coffee and cooking your own meals. Self service Breakfast items available in the morning. There's eggs, yogurt, milk, cereal, fruit, toast and jams. Laundry available $10 per wash and dry. We've enjoyed the place very much. Book it while it's available as there's only 5 rooms
