“It was a great experience staying here, wonderful service”

Staying here was a great experience. Yassine, the manager, was fantastic and very helpful with restaurant recommendations (all excellent) and arranging a guide for a tour around the medina. We were looked after very well. Our room was large and comfortable, especially the bed, and the hotel was quiet and peaceful. The location was great, within walking distance of everything we visited. The hotel could use a bit of TLC; for example, our shower head needed replacing and there was an odd broken tile. It’s a beautiful ryad but could use a little refresh.

The location, the staff, and the calm of the place were positives. The humidity in the room (Alain) and the access method that forces you to ring every time you return were negatives.

“rust, vriendelijk, netjes”

The quietness when we were in the riad was nice, especially since it was in the old part of the city, inside the city walls. Keep in mind that no cars drive here, so the last stretch you’ll have to walk. It’s a short walk, about 5 minutes. What bothered me a bit was that there was no shower rod, so you couldn’t shower standing up in the tub. That was a minor drawback for me.

Breakfast was very good, the staff very friendly. The bathroom was a bit worn; there’s a minibar fridge in the room but it contains no drinks, only a bottle is provided on arrival.

The location of the property and its setup make you feel like you’re in an authentic Moroccan home. Super cozy, comfortable and clean. Nothing negative.
