It was a small, unmanned hotel, but security was solid. I received photos and explanations via WhatsApp from the staff, so checking in was smooth and any questions were answered politely. The location was roughly in the middle of the tourist spots, which was convenient. The only issue was that when I was told to leave my luggage in the closet and then pick it up the next day, the staff didn’t arrive at the agreed time, wasting a bit of my time.

The accommodation was very central and easy to access. A homeless man appeared in the stairwell leading up to the building; I reported him to staff several times, but they took no action. Unsure if he was heavily intoxicated or armed, I chose to leave early. The staff never showed up.

The hostel sits right next to the city center, which is great. It’s clean and pleasant, and we had a room with a private bathroom, which was more than good considering the price.
