The house was awesome, with a beautiful garden full of fruit trees. The best part was the hosts; they were extremely nice and gave us plenty of help and guidance. My family loved staying here. We’d definitely stay longer next time we’re in Negril.

I stayed in Negril at Nelson Retreat with two family members and felt instantly at home. The house sits in a private cul‑de‑sac with friendly neighbours, a secure gate, and well‑maintained grounds. The owners, Shirley and William, were fantastic—Shirley’s breakfasts were delicious and she always went the extra mile, while William kindly drove us into town a few times and shared his passion for Jamaica, helping us experience an authentic local vibe. Nelson’s Retreat is at the end of West End, just a 10‑minute walk from the famous Rick’s Café where the sunsets are breathtaking, and it’s not far from town where you can find authentic food, fast‑food chains, supermarkets, and banks. A gorgeous place run by a lovely couple—definitely coming back next year with more family!
