The location was fine. The carpet was dirty and tasted bad, plaster fell from the ceiling, and I didn’t get the room I had booked; for the money it was a huge disappointment.

The staff were very professional.

The room was nothing like the booking photos; it was old, dirty, with nasty carpet, black hair and mold in the bathroom, peeling paint, worn furniture, and uncomfortable bedding. The pictures were misleading, showing close‑ups of the best rooms but not reflecting what guests actually receive. This dishonest presentation is unacceptable for the 230 € per night price. I strongly advise against staying here.

The front‑desk lady who checked us in was very friendly and welcoming, truly excellent at her job. However, the two men who handled our checkout were unhelpful and seemed lazy.

The hotel is right next to Gare du Nord and offers a good breakfast. The staff are very friendly and the bed is comfortable. On the downside, the building is old and poorly insulated against outside noise, and the price feels too high, as is common in Paris.
